Hey everyone,

Would it be possible to update VT status in real-time or at the next refresh like QN's are? I think this would be a good idea because some might want to know who is connected at the particular moment so they can choose whether they want to come on there.

What do you all think?

I personally think it is a good idea.
Some people might find it annoying however.

Could there be a choice between the current style and the new one? That's possible in HTML using either <input type="checkbox"/> or <input type="radio"/>.

Interesting idea. I've always wondered a bit why the vt status lagged behind the realtime, though I figured Chris had a reason for doing it the way he did.

That is...if Chris was responsible for the VT code.

Is Having up to the second vt status possible?

If it is possible in the actual program itself, I'm sure Chris could use some PHP to pull the information every 5 seconds or something like that.

I know its possible to have it real time

hang on, we had it refresh faster than this at the beginning and there were huge problems, I believe it's to do with how often the script collects data, and how fast it can then send that data to the website. I'm sure as i said that we had problems which is why it was set like it is.
I fail to see the problem though, it always says above the list "as of ... ago x number of people were on voice chat," so you know how up to date it is. if you aren't happy keep refreshing until it gives you the info as of a few seconds ago, then you have it. is 5 minutes really long to wait?

People can come on VT, then leave so fast that the site might not get the data. I think that it's time for the admins to comment on this one.

I'm going to have to agree with Kev on this one. Just look at all the problems with zone by phone, and how much that is always breaking down.
